Blur shuts down the blur.io NFT marketplace frontend and stops matching new Blend loans on November 12, 2026; the on-chain protocol keeps running.
Blur, the Ethereum NFT marketplace and NFT lending platform (Blend), will deprecate its blur.io frontend on November 12, 2026, per the official @blur_io announcement on October 12. On the same date Blend stops matching new loans: borrowers must repay before the deadline or let loans default, and Blur says it will provide a frontend tool afterwards to help users withdraw assets from Blend. The Blur marketplace protocol stays operational on-chain, and the BLUR token keeps control of its fee switch. Monthly volume fell from about $1.43B at its March 2023 peak to under $7M in October 2026 (The Block).
