Cobo shuts down its consumer Cobo Wallet app on December 1, 2026 (UTC+8); leftover balances then face a 2% monthly fee, minimum $100.
Cobo, the Singapore-based crypto custody and MPC wallet provider founded in 2017, will shut down its consumer Cobo Wallet app (personal wallet) on December 1, 2026 at 00:00 UTC+8 (November 30, 16:00 UTC), per an official Cobo Support notice dated October 15, 2026. Users must withdraw all crypto assets before the deadline and replace any Cobo Wallet deposit addresses saved on exchanges or mining pools. Assets left in the app after shutdown are charged a monthly account management fee of 2% of the remaining balance, minimum $100 equivalent per month, deducted in kind starting January 1, 2027; balances under $100 are taken in full. The app stopped new registrations in 2021, and Cobo now focuses on institutional custody and wallet infrastructure, which is not affected.
