The Sandbox is targeting October 2026 for the public launch of The Sandbox Studio, its game-creation platform, with monetization, full platform and backend support, refined onboarding and a large voxel asset library. Studio Beta went live on August 12 with an engine update, a wider Creator Program and a $7,500 Beta Creators Game Jam, and the roadmap scheduled sync multiplayer for September (four-player competitive modes, lobbies, matchmaking and per-match servers). The launch focuses on multiplayer, creator monetization, 10+ genre templates and kits, asset and skill collections and Agent Nova, an AI-first creation assistant. The date is an official target, not a fixed day.
