Public Testnet Launch Target
Flop Network (FLOP) · Releases & Updates · November 3, 2026
Arthur Hayes' Flop Labs targets November 3, 2026 for the open FLOP testnet, a ~90-day run that is the only route to the genesis airdrop.
Flop Network, the AI-agent compute blockchain led by BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes through Flop Labs, has set Tuesday November 3, 2026 as the working target date for its public testnet, according to the official FLOP docs (Testnet & Launch Timeline FAQ). The testnet is open with no whitelist and no cap on miners: GPU miners serve real inference sessions for AI agents, validators produce blocks and verify work, and agents buy compute with test tokens. It runs for about 90 days with forced software upgrades, and the work recorded on testnet is the sole basis for the FLOP genesis airdrop (about a quarter of supply). The top 1,000 validators by testnet performance are admitted to the mainnet set. A private devnet with institutional miners and validators has been running since mid-October. The team calls November 3 a target rather than a fixed date, to be confirmed as devnet onboarding completes. Mainnet, FLOP TGE and listing are tracking to early February 2027 (Q1 2027). Key topics: FLOP testnet date, Flop Network airdrop farming, proof of useful inference, Arthur Hayes AI token, GPU mining testnet.
