Hashi Bitcoin Finance Mainnet Rollout

Sui (SUI) · Releases & Updates · October 2026

Sui's Hashi, native Bitcoin collateral infrastructure, starts a phased mainnet rollout in late October 2026 with $500M+ in committed capital.

Hashi is Sui's native Bitcoin finance infrastructure, built by Mysten Labs, that lets native BTC serve as programmable collateral while the Bitcoin stays on the Bitcoin network. Depositing BTC mints hBTC on Sui for use in lending, borrowing, credit origination, vaults, structured products and Bitcoin-backed bonds; withdrawing burns hBTC and releases native BTC. Announced at Sui Basecamp on October 8, 2026, Hashi mainnet goes live in a phased rollout later in October 2026 (Sui Foundation: 'at the end of this month'), with more than $500 million in capital commitments from a 20+ partner launch coalition including BitGo, Bullish, Cumberland, FalconX and Ledger. Anchorage Digital joins as a day-one partner with tri-party settlement and self-custody routes for institutions. Vault providers include Aftermath, Concrete and Fluid. Security uses MPC, a 2-of-2 multisig with a Guardian Layer, Certora formal verification and a CommonPrefix review. Access opens progressively as partners complete integrations. Key topics: Sui Hashi mainnet, hBTC, Bitcoin DeFi on Sui, BTC collateral, SUI.
