Starknet v0.14.4 upgrade is scheduled for Mainnet on October 5, 2026, pending governance approval, after the September 15 testnet release.
Starknet, the Ethereum Layer 2 validity rollup built by StarkWare, plans to upgrade Mainnet to version v0.14.4 on October 5, 2026, pending governance approval; Testnet moved to v0.14.4 on September 15. The release is small and mostly transparent for users. Its main new capability is proving block-sized transactions through the SNIP-36 client-side proving flow, up to 1.1B L2 gas per proven transaction. It also realigns OS gas pricing weights (under 1% effect on most transactions per StarkWare), removes long-deprecated feeder gateway endpoints and moves the block committer into the Apollo sequencer. Breaking change: proofs generated with the 0.14.3 prover are rejected after the upgrade.
