Samsung Wallet adds native USDC transfers on Solana for 82 million US Galaxy devices, launching in the last week of October 2026.

Samsung Electronics America is building stablecoin access directly into Samsung Wallet. Launching in the last week of October 2026, eligible US Galaxy users will be able to buy USDC and send it to compatible crypto wallets internationally with no transfer fees, or send money to eligible bank accounts in more than 60 countries where recipients receive local currency. The feature reaches about 82 million US Galaxy devices at launch. Bastion, a regulated stablecoin custodian, powers the cross-border framework, with Coinbase as sub-custodian via Coinbase Prime Vault; Solana and Sui provide blockchain network support, and the Solana Foundation announced USDC transfers on Solana inside Samsung Wallet. Future features may include stablecoin payments online and tap-to-pay in stores.
