Quantus Network, a post-quantum proof-of-work Layer 1, launched its mainnet on September 9, 2026 with QTC as the native coin.
Quantus Network launched its mainnet on September 9, 2026. Quantus is a post-quantum Layer 1 blockchain secured by proof-of-work mining and built to stay safe against future cryptographically relevant quantum computers (CRQC) by using post-quantum signatures (ML-DSA) and zero-knowledge proofs. The native coin QTC has a fixed 21M maximum supply. In its first week the network produced over 53,000 blocks. On September 21, 2026 Quantus opened a 10,000 QTC airdrop for miners from the Resonance, Schrödinger, Dirac and Planck testnets, claimable only through the official Quantus mobile wallet.
