Mesa Mainnet Upgrade
Mina Protocol (MINA) · Releases & Updates · Sep 3, 2026
Mina Protocol activates its Mesa mainnet upgrade on September 3, 2026, following a successful final Devnet rehearsal.
Mina Protocol is rolling out its next major mainnet upgrade, codenamed Mesa, scheduled for September 3, 2026. The Devnet was successfully upgraded as the final end-to-end rehearsal mirroring mainnet conditions and serving as a confidence check before the network-wide upgrade, with Mesa deployed in full. Node operators, developers and exchanges are invited to test their infrastructure against the upgraded network ahead of activation. Mina is known as the succinct blockchain, using recursive zk-SNARKs to keep the chain a constant, lightweight size regardless of usage. The Mesa upgrade is a significant milestone on the protocol roadmap, and MINA holders, validators, node operators and integrators should prepare for the upgrade window.
