Hollywood Hills · Releases & Updates · October 8, 2026

Hollywood Hills, a horror film backed by The Sandbox founders, opens fan investment on Republic on October 8, with Villa NFT perks for investors.

Hollywood Hills is a cosmic horror thriller feature film written and directed by Benjamin Rozovas, with The Sandbox (SAND) co-founders Arthur Madrid and Sébastien Borget as lead investors and producers. The project came out of stealth on October 1, 2026 and plans to open its fan investment window on Republic on October 8, 2026, as a potential Reg CF crowdfunding offering: investors would share in the film's revenue, get repaid 120% of their investment before profits are split 50/50 with the producers, and receive perks from $200 tiers up to Executive Producer credits. Every investor also gets a Villa, a digital collectible (NFT) from a 3,000-piece collection by artist Steve Scott, each hiding a clue for an in-world mystery game tied to the Dead & Famous LA bus tour. Comet Rider perks, including end-credit names and first pick of rare Villas, apply only in the first 48 hours. Full terms are due October 6; the offering is not live until a Form C is filed with the SEC, so terms and date may change. Key topics: Hollywood Hills NFT, The Sandbox film, Republic film investment, Villa NFT mint, Web3 entertainment.
