DTCC Collateral AppChain Launch
Chainlink (LINK) · Releases & Updates · Q1 2027
DTCC's Collateral AppChain, built on Chainlink CRE, CCIP and Data Feeds, is expected to go live in Q1 2027 for 24/7 collateral management.
Chainlink, the oracle and interoperability network behind the LINK token, is the core infrastructure for DTCC's Collateral AppChain, a shared blockchain platform for 24/7 near real-time collateral management across financial markets and blockchains. Presented by DTCC's Dan Doney and Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov at Sibos 2026, the Collateral AppChain is expected to launch in Q1 2027 (DTCC's May 2026 release had targeted Q4 2026). Chainlink provides the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) for orchestration across systems, CCIP for cross-chain messaging between participating blockchains and the AppChain, and Data Feeds for verifiable market data used in valuation. The platform targets collateral providers, receivers, managers, triparty agents and custodians, automating eligibility, valuation, margining, optimization and settlement workflows. DTCC subsidiaries processed $4.7 quadrillion in securities transactions in 2025, making this one of the largest tokenization and RWA deployments tied to Chainlink.
