Team, VC & Angel 1-Year Cliff Ends
Zama (ZAMA) · Token Unlocks · ~February 2, 2027
Zama (ZAMA) team, VC and angel allocations, 50% of supply, exit their 1-year cliff around February 2, 2027, releasing one tenth (~5% of supply).
Zama is a confidential-computing protocol that uses fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) to bring encrypted smart contracts and confidential token transfers to Ethereum and other chains. The ZAMA token launched on February 2, 2026. Per the official Zama Protocol litepaper, the Team (20%), VC (20%) and Angel (10%) allocations each carry a 1-year cliff with one tenth unlocked at the cliff, after which team tokens vest over 4 years and VC and angel tokens over 2 years. That puts roughly 5% of the genesis supply (about 550M ZAMA, estimate) on the market around February 2, 2027. The date is derived from the TGE date plus the litepaper cliff; Zama has not posted the exact unlock day. Key topics: ZAMA token unlock, Zama cliff, FHE token vesting schedule.
