Sign's restructured schedule releases 1/4 of all investor and early-team SIGN on January 15, 2027: ~750M SIGN, about 26% of circulating supply.
Sign builds attestation and token-distribution infrastructure (Sign Protocol, TokenTable), and SIGN is its token with a 10B total supply. In June 2026, following consensus between the Sign Foundation and most backers, Sign replaced the monthly vesting for all investor and early contributor tokens with spaced lump tranches. Monthly 1/24 unlocks continued through July 2026; the remainder unlocks as 1/4 on January 15, 2027, 1/4 on July 15, 2027, 1/4 on January 15, 2028 and a final 1/8 on April 15, 2028. The first tranche on January 15, 2027 releases about 500M SIGN to backers and about 250M SIGN to early team members, roughly 750M SIGN in total, or around 26% of the ~2.84B circulating supply (about $7.8M at the current price).
