Venice cuts VVV token emissions from 2.5M to 2M per year on October 1, 2026, the second of two planned reductions.

Venice, the private and uncensored AI platform whose VVV token is used for staking-based API access on Base, will reduce VVV emissions from 2.5M to 2M tokens per year on October 1, 2026. It is the second stage of a two-step cut announced on August 5: the first stage took annual emissions from 3M to 2.5M on September 1. Earlier in 2026 Venice already stepped emissions down from 6M to 3M per year through monthly reductions. The team says the goal is a net deflationary VVV with native yield, where token burns exceed new emissions.
