Lido targets October 2026 for the 0x02 Community Staking Module mainnet, a permissionless module for 2048-ETH validators.
Lido, the largest Ethereum liquid staking protocol (stETH), targets October 2026 for the mainnet launch of 0x02 CSM, a new permissionless Community Staking Module for 0x02 (compounding, up to 2048 ETH) validators. The 0x02 CSM testnet went live on September 8 and Lido said mainnet is targeted for October assuming the testnet runs smoothly. The module runs in parallel with the existing 0x01 CSM inside Lido Core. Entry is permissionless with a 32 ETH bond for the first key and 30 ETH for subsequent keys, giving node operators an estimated 2.26x capital multiplier versus solo staking.
