Holo says the HOT to HoloFuel migration begins and HoloFuel goes live by November 1, 2026, replacing the ERC-20 HOT token.
Holo, the hosting and infrastructure company behind the Holochain peer-to-peer application framework, says HoloFuel will be live and the HOT to HoloFuel migration will begin by November 1, 2026. HoloFuel is the mutual-credit currency used to pay Holo hosts for running Holochain apps; the migration converts the ERC-20 HOT token into HoloFuel. The team has tested the HOT to HF migration successfully, released Holochain 0.7 and says the design has been made more capture-proof by removing Holo's organisations as centralisation points. Detailed migration instructions have not been published yet and are promised in writing closer to launch, so exact timing and mechanics may still change.
