Echo Protocol, a BTCFi lending and liquid staking protocol on Aptos, sets November 19, 2026 23:59 UTC as the final deadline to withdraw, unstake and repay loans.
Echo Protocol is a Bitcoin finance (BTCFi) platform on Aptos that offered BTC lending, liquid staking (LSD) and yield strategies, and issued aBTC bridged from B² Network. On October 19, 2026 the team announced the wind-down of the protocol after nearly two years of operation: lending stopped taking new deposits and borrows, interest accrual stopped, and strategies and staking closed to new funds. Borrowers must repay outstanding loans by November 14, 2026, after which Echo ceases operations. The final deadline for borrower repayments, withdrawals and unstaking is November 19, 2026 at 23:59 UTC; unpaid loans are then subject to collateral liquidation, and remaining positions move to liquidation or settlement. The Aptos-to-B² bridge redemption for aBTC stays available after the shutdown. Users with BTC, aBTC or LSD positions on Echo should exit before the deadline and ignore any private requests to transfer funds.
