LayerZero Labs targets fall 2026 for the mainnet of Zero, its institutional Layer 1 with Citadel Securities, DTCC and ICE as Day Zero partners.

Zero is the high-performance Layer 1 blockchain from LayerZero Labs, the team behind the LayerZero cross-chain messaging protocol and the ZRO token. Announced on February 10, 2026, Zero is a heterogeneous architecture of specialized Zones (including an EVM execution environment and a privacy-oriented payments zone) built for tokenization, settlement and global markets, with the Jolt zkVM for proving. Day Zero partners include Citadel Securities, DTCC and ICE. LayerZero said mainnet approaches this fall; no exact date has been announced, so the event is stored as Q4 2026 (Estimated).
