Spell plans to launch the public version of MIM V2, introducing a new borrowing system for yield-bearing collateral.
Spell is targeting the public launch of MIM V2 as the next major upgrade to its lending infrastructure. The new version is designed to support borrowing against yield-bearing collateral while adding private spending features by default. The Q3 2026 V2 target predates the June 2026 MIM depeg; the team has posted nothing since July 5, the promised roadmap has not appeared, and no new launch date has been announced.
