Slop Cash is a funding layer for open-source code and security that pays contributors only for work a human maintainer accepts and merges; its CTO is Shaw (@shawmakesmagic), the founder of ai16z/elizaOS. SLOP is the first project to launch on Umia, an onchain venture protocol that runs each launch as a Tailored Auction built on Uniswap's Continuous Clearing Auction: bids discover the price and the final clearing price seeds the project's treasury-owned Uniswap v4 pool. Official schedule from Umia: pre-bid opens November 5, 2026 at 17:00 UTC (12pm ET), bidding opens November 7 at 17:00 UTC, and the auction closes November 10 at 17:00 UTC. Bids are placed in USDG and the token launches on Robinhood Chain. If the auction meets its minimum, funds go to the project treasury under team-set spending terms.
