Neon EVM, a network extension that runs EVM dApps on Solana, has announced a wind-down. Active development, maintenance and team-run support ended on October 1, 2026, and no further protocol updates or upgrades are planned. Users and developers who rely on Neon EVM are told to complete any migration or withdrawal steps before December 31, 2026, using the NeonPass withdrawal instructions in the official docs. The wind-down does not remove or cancel the NEON SPL token on Solana. However, the team gives no assurance about the token's future utility, liquidity, market value or exchange support, and each exchange will make its own delisting decision.
