The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) of the US Federal Reserve meets March 16-17, 2027 in Washington, D.C. The policy statement and federal funds rate decision are released on March 17 at 2:00 p.m. ET, followed by the Chair's press conference. This is a Summary of Economic Projections (SEP) meeting: officials publish updated forecasts for GDP, unemployment and inflation along with the dot plot of expected policy rates, making it one of the most market-sensitive Fed events of the first half of 2027.
