Ethos Network, the Ethereum-based onchain reputation and credibility protocol, is launching its native token WHUF (Whuffie) through a public auction beginning September 1, 2026. The auction offers 20% of token supply with a starting fully-diluted valuation of $1M and a cap of $99M, plus an 85% price guarantee and bonuses tied to Contributor XP and referrals. Ethos lets users build verifiable trust profiles through review, vouch, slash and attest mechanisms, with endorsements backed by staked ETH and an onchain reputation marketplace. The WHUF auction follows the launch of the Ethos Foundation and marks the project's token generation event. Participants must register ahead of the auction to take part.
