Binance (BNB) · Releases & Updates · November 1, 2026
Binance expects to reopen crypto withdrawals around November 1, 2026, about 45 hours after its October 30 update on the $6.3B hot wallet hack.
Binance, the largest centralized crypto exchange, expects to resume crypto withdrawals around November 1, 2026. Withdrawals were paused on October 29 after attackers drained about $6.3 billion from Binance hot wallets across ten blockchains, the largest crypto hack on record. In an October 30 investigation update, Binance said it is on track to restore the withdrawal service in about 45 hours, after a security revamp of the withdrawal system and its related addresses. Deposits keep working as normal. Binance says user funds are safe and that all losses will be covered from the SAFU fund and company funds, while around $3 billion of the stolen assets has been frozen with issuers and law enforcement. The exact reopening time may shift and will be confirmed on official Binance channels.
